Lab

Lab services are a vital component in Urological care and our COLA-accredited WIU Laboratory collects and runs the majority of patient lab work in-house meaning faster results in the hands of the providers that need it. To support your care we offer PSA, testosterone, creatinine, metabolic panel, and post vasectomy semen analysis testing onsite at our Neenah office.

General X-ray and DEXA

Our team of knowledgeable Technologists perform radiographic imaging of the chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, ribs, and upper and lower extremities to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Pre- and post-surgical Retrograde Urethrograms (RUG), Cystograms, and Voiding Cystourethrograms (VCUG) can conveniently be performed within our diagnostics department allowing providers to see exactly what they need to get to the root of the problem. To support WIU’s Advanced Prostate Care Clinic, we offer DEXA scan services. DEXA stands for dual energy X-ray absorptiometry and uses low dose x-rays to measure bone density by evaluating areas of the body where fractures linked to osteoporosis commonly occur, such as the spine, hips and wrist.

CT Scan

CT scan, or computed tomography, produces cross-sectional images of the body allowing WIU and WISE providers a more detailed and accurate look inside a patient’s body. Designed with patient care as the focus, our experienced Technologists guide our patients through a CT scan exam to obtain low-dose, high-quality images and will take the time to answer any questions.

Ultrasound

Diagnostic Ultrasound delivers images of the body using sound waves and is another tool WIU and WISE providers can use to support your care. Our urology-focused sonographers, or Ultrasound techs, specialize in obtaining pictures of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and testicles, while keeping your comfort and privacy in mind.
